The Volunteer Committees Informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Tourism Leadership Council offices.  Interested Volunteer Committee members should plan to attend the meeting to learn more about the various committee opportunities available with the festival.  Please RSVP at the following if you may be interested in serving as a volunteer on a committee:

There are various opportunities for volunteers to be involved with the festival, by serving as a volunteer during the week-long festivities and/or by being involved in behind the scenes planning as a volunteer serving on a committee.  All volunteers must register online if they are interested in volunteering in any capacity: http://www.savannahfoodandwinefest.com/volunteer-sign-up.html.

There are various volunteer positions already available online, and it is first-come, first-serve to fill the premium volunteer positions available.  It is not necessary to attend the July 1^st meeting if you simply want to volunteer for the festival and not participate on a committee.  Volunteer Orientation meetings will take place in October 2014 for additional festival volunteer information and to allocate credentials.

The festival is looking for people that are dedicated food, wine and/or people enthusiasts who are willing to invest some of their time to see the festival be as successful as possible. Volunteers play a vital part in the execution of the festival, while obtaining unique event experiences that are a great opportunity to learn from some of the country’s leading culinary, wine and spirit experts.
