The Savannah Standard: SAV6

City wide service excellence for Savannah’s tourism and hospitality community.

SAV6 / The Savannah Standard: SAV6

Visitors don’t experience Savannah one business at a time. They experience the whole city.

SAV6, The Savannah Standard: SAV6, is TLC’s city wide service excellence initiative. We built it with Figary / BrightSpark, and Front Porch Improv leads the room. Actor led. No awkward role play.

The idea is simple. For Savannah, by Savannah. When frontline people and their leaders share the same six behaviors, guests feel it from the hotel to the shop to the attraction. Service is the lever for reputation and for return visits.

This page is for members who want in.

The SAV6

Six behaviors. Clear enough to teach. Strong enough to hold.

  1. Warmly Welcome
  2. Be Positive and Professional
  3. Use Their Name, If You Have It
  4. Be Genuinely Interested
  5. Be Helpful and Informative
  6. Encourage Them Back

That’s the standard. The classes below teach it, set it, and coach it.

No awkward role play. Service is how we earn reputation and return visits.

Who: Supervisors, operations leaders, HR, and trainers.

Phase 4 · ~ Nov 10, 2026 (hold)
Scarbrough House

If Savannah is going to be known for how we treat people, we have to practice it together. SAV6 is how we do that.
