Funding your future in tourism, hospitality and culinary arts since 1998.

Since its founding in 1998, the Tourism Leadership Council has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to students in Savannah and the surrounding areas, in amounts ranging from $500-$3,000. Our scholarships are paid directly to the student, so you can apply the funds to any school-related costs, including housing, supplies and other living expenses. In previous years, scholarships have gone to students from Georgia Southern University, University of Georgia, Savannah Technical College, Ogeechee Technical College, University of South Carolina-Beaufort, and other area universities. To be considered for a scholarship in the 2022–2023 school year, submit your application by Friday, November 11th, 2022. Finalists will contacted for a face-to-face interview, which will determine the recipients of the scholarship. Recipients will be recognized at our awards dinner on Thursday, December 8th, 2022.

Eligibility
• Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university for the 2022-2023 school year, or plan to enroll in college in the fall of 2022.
• Applicants must have 3.0 or higher GPA, confirmed by an official transcript from your school.

Application Requirements
• A short essay that explains why you have chosen your field of study, and your plans for your future in the tourism and hospitality community.
• A current resume, including any work experience, extracurricular activities, community involvement and awards.
• Two letters of recommendation. Recommendations can be from teachers, professors, supervisors, etc.
